If you've been following il manifesto global for a while, you may have noticed some big changes to our website in recent months. The redesigned site is faster and easier to navigate, following similar upgrades to the main il manifesto website. Our weekly email newsletter is also getting an update. In it we'll deliver more articles each week so you can see more of the news, analysis, reportage and commentary our journalists are creating for you.

Last but not least, we're adding a simple and affordable subscription plan for those who would like to support our work. Il manifesto global has been operated ad-free with no paywall since we began publishing over eight years ago. That won't change — the new $1.99/month subscription is completely optional. But if you choose to sign up, you'll be helping to offset the cost of translation, editing and operating the website.
